This fitness influencer just got banned from running in New York. Running influencer Matt Choi has just been banned from running in any New York roadrunner events. The reason for this ban was because of Matt Choi's methods of getting content while running the New York City marathon. Matt had his brother and a videographer on a e-bike recording him throughout the race. The only problem is he wasn't given permission to do that. Not only that, the e-bike was a serious safety hazard and affected other people's run times. And today on Instagram Matt recently gave an apology accepting that he was in the wrong. He does have the option to appeal the New York Roadrunner's decision, but he will not. Which honestly I think is really respectable. He has been criticized for doing this in the past, but in previous races he was given permission to do so. While I think he meant well, he did go about getting content the wrong way.
