Top 5 greatest movie villains. Number 5 is Nurse Ratchet. Now Nurse Ratchet is a different breed of villain than the most common villains in movies. There's a subtlety to her that just gets under your skin and aggravates the shit out of you. And also just the way she abuses and manipulates these patients has a bigger message than just her being an evil villain. It's commentary on an entire system that fails these people and even on a bigger level talks about oppressors and how they keep people who speak out silenced. Number 4 is Frank Booth from Blue Velvet, one of the most dastardly villains in movie history. He's so scary. I mean just from the minute he comes on screen there's a tension that you feel and you know there's a shift in the tone of the entire film and it's just terrific and Dennis Hopper is so crazy in this role. Number 3 the Joker. I mean so many great actors have conquered the Joker. The greatest is of course Heath Ledger but I love his sort of philosophy of just destruction of of anarchy because it has all great superhero villains is a complete opposite to Batman who is all about wealth and creation and all of the things the Joker tries to dismantle. Number 2 is Hannibal Lecter. I love Hannibal Lecter. Manipulative, subtle in a lot of ways but then when he goes crazy he goes bash it fucking crazy and the ending of sounds of the lambs always leaves me speechless. If you like this list and want more about other nonsense follow me leave me a comment with the greatest villain of all time. Also follow my wife Samantha who I've tagged check out our podcast Brutally Honest with Sam and Jacob wherever you get your podcasts. Number 1 we all fucking know it's Darth Vader.
