Top 5 movies that have made the most money in 2025 so far. Number 5 is how to train your dragon. This made $560 million. I could have sworn there already was a movie of this. Or I don't know. Number 4, Mission Impossible. The final reckoning took in $584 million. Tom Cruise still out there doing his own stunts. Number 3, A Minecraft movie made $955 million. Probably cost about $955 million worth of damage to the movie theaters that these kids tore apart because they act like little animals. Number 2, Lilo and Stitch made $994 million and I'm like, Disney is the greatest scam artist in the world. I mean, they've already made this movie and they just make it again in a lesser version and they still make money. I think so far, Sinners has been my, oh I saw a great movie yesterday, Sovereign, Sovereign. It's fantastic, Nick Offerman's in it, Dennis Quaid. And it's a really interesting story, fathers and sons and kind of one side is very anti-law and government and the other side is a family of cops and how they meet is really, really insane and tragic and really fascinating film.
