The barrier you have to cross in order to create remote income is doing things you have never done. A lot of people struggle with the embarrassment of visibility or putting themselves out there in order to get clients. But, in order to create something you’ve never had before, you must do things you’ve never done before. In most cases people simply refuse to do countless things that could earn them remote income. Leaving America to another country is a financial commitment. But, it does not need to include the cost of a whole extra scouting trip. Just because you think you “need” to visit somewhere before moving there, does not make it so. Military members, foreign service members, and corporate employees move to new countries regularly without ever visiting them. When you go in and earn the local wages, you will be barely scraping by. The magic of moving abroad is that you earn American size wages in a country where their cost of living is much lower. America’s privatized healthcare system is never going to work for the masses. The poor people can’t afford to pay, which drives up the prices for the middle class who can barely afford it, and the rich are so rich that they don’t pay into the system because they don’t need it. When only a fraction of the people who need insurance are paying in, the system cannot work. Socialized medicine distributes tax dollars in a way that reduces healthcare costs for everyone. Every other developed country offers healthcare as a right, not a privilege. Americans are sick and tired of healthcare being tied to employment, so damn confusing, and insanely unaffordable.
