I have seriously outdone myself this time, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, good for your hormones, chocolate brownies. Yes, you heard me correct. Let's go! All right, so the first thing we're starting with is some dates. You have to trust me on this. This gives it that ooey gooey texture that's like chewy brownie. It's incredible. They're sweet. They're lower glycemic index. They're packet potassium. They have good benefits, okay? But I already took five dates and I let them just sit in hot water. So you're starting off with five dates. You're gonna soak them. I obviously poured out all the extra hot water. Now I just have five really soft, mushy dates. Okay, next up you need sweet potato. You have to trust me on this one. So everybody always asks me so I'll show you guys. I just took literally sweet potato. I scored it around and now I'm just going to take off the skin and it's gonna go straight into the bowl. Like that is it. Every time I say you just need mashed sweet potato people go nuts and they're like what do you mean? How do you how do you get it? How do you cook it? You just you just bake sweet potato. If somehow that's still confusing, I don't know what to do. Guys, I've done my absolute best here. Kim, I'm sorry in advance. I just got my nails done. I've got sweet potato under my nails. All right, so you've got one cup and a fourth of baked sweet potato. You're just gonna mash this all up. Okay, this part is important. You're gonna take about two tablespoons of dark chocolate chips. I guess you could use milk chocolate. My baked potato is still warm. So I'm going to mix this in and this is going to melt. Okay, backstory hear me out. I made this last week. I was starving and I really needed a sweet treat and I was impatient. So I didn't let my sweet potato cool and I threw the chocolate in there and it all melted and I truly think this is why this is the most recipe I've ever made. So as you can see, it's just melted in there. Next, tablespoon of vanilla extract. Then we're going to throw two tablespoons of tahini. You have to trust me. This gives it such a rich depth flavor about two tablespoons. It's also really high in sinks. If you're seed cycling, you know you need sesame seeds. Tahini is just ground sesame seeds. So that's why I'm also making this. You cannot make brownies without cacao powder. I'm going to put three heaping tablespoons. Cacao powder is packed with antioxidants. It's good for your stem cells. The list of benefits from cacao powder is insane, which is another reason why I was so stoked that these came out so good. Generous pinch of salt, literally a good. Generous pinch of salt, it's going to help enhance the flavors. Trust me, you want salt. One cup, third oat flour, right in the bowl. Half a tablespoon of baking soda. Now just give it all a mix. If you want to add toppings, I'm going to add walnuts. I'm going to add this before I start stirring, but you can do pecans. If you don't like nuts, if you're allergic to nuts, which everybody seems to leave me a comment on that, skip this step. If not, add some walnuts. They're really good for your brain health. Plus brownies, walnuts, they're delicious. This is what my batter looks like. I've already greased my loaf pan. I'm pouring it in. I top mine with extra walnuts and chocolate into the oven. I bake this in the oven at 375 for 25 minutes. I just topped it with some flaky sea salt as soon as it came out.
