If you feel like your videos are always getting stuck in 200 viewgeal, this is for you. So first of all, what is 200 viewgeal? So a lot of creators will say that when they post a video, it will get stuck at a certain amount of views, like 200, 300, 500, whatever it may be. And they're basically suggesting that TikTok is like capping their views and not letting anybody see it to pass that amount. It kind of is true in a way. So basically when you post a video or any piece of content, TikTok will show it to like a certain amount of people to gauge high engaging and dynamic this video is and if it should reach more people. So say TikTok pushes it like to 200 people and people aren't engaging with it, it's going to limit the reach because TikTok's goal as a platform is to keep people engaged, to keep people scrolling. And if it says that your video is not engaging enough, it's going to limit the reach. On the flip side, if your video is really engaging, adding loads of value, creating discussion, getting shares, saves, whatever, it's going to push it like to more people. So that's how you get out of that 200 viewgeal. Your video needs to be really targeted to a certain audience. It needs to really resonate with them and it needs to create discussion. There are a lot of ways to make your content more value added. And if you click the link in my profile, I have a guide which basically tells you how to improve your content and get to 10,000 followers. But one tip I would really, really suggest if you feel like you're stuck in that 200 viewgeal is to create community on TikTok. You need to be engaging more with other creators like in your sphere, maybe in your location within your niche, say you're a mum creator like I am, then you maybe need to engage more with other mum creators around you. You need to be commenting on their posts, reposting, sharing, saving, actually giving engagement if you want to get it back. Because once you are part of a community, there will be other people who will comment and share and repost your posts as well. We really believe that a rising tide raises all ships like we are so much better when we work together and social media is supposed to be social. You're supposed to be talking to somebody when you're posting a video. And if you're not, it's just kind of like a monologue, I guess. Out of all the opportunities that have come with start and TikTok for me, the best thing I've got from it is a group of friends, like an actual really good group of mum friends who all post on TikTok. Like I have a group of other creators, we talk to each other every single day. Like it has been the best thing. And I'll share some advice with them. They'll share advice with me. We're all helping each other. We're all learning from each other. And every time somebody gets a new opportunity, we're all really supportive and will help them. So if you're stuck in that 200 view jail, it's telling me that you're not engaging enough with other people around you. You don't have a community that's going to be there to help support you when you post another video. Try and engage more. Try and create discussion. Try and make friends with other creators in your sphere and see what happens. I guarantee you it will help push you out of that jail. And if you want more content tips or advice on getting to 10,000 followers or how to to make money on TikTok, click the link in my bio and I've got plenty of guides that will help you.
