Oh my god, I love this question. I never get asked about this anymore, but before I became a coach on teaching people how to leave America, I actually taught people how to become minimalist. It was my favorite topic. I talked about minimalism constantly because it changed my entire life. And so my first e-course that was ever on the internet is the messy to minimalist e-course. And it literally teaches you everything about how to get rid of stuff and recoup your money. So if you are somebody who is thinking about moving out of the country and you're like, "I need money." And how do I get rid of my stuff? Those two things are married together in the messy to minimalist e-course, which is linked in my bio. And basically what that course does is it takes you room by room, helps you figure out how to get rid of stuff, and it helps you figure out how to sell it. And I talk about everything from how to sell things online if they're higher value, how to have an amazing garage sale where you can earn thousands of dollars in one weekend, and how to make that a really good use of your time. And I talk about all the emotional stuff, all the baggage in your mind about how do you get rid of sentimental items, and how do you work through the process of dealing with all the paperwork in your house. I detail every single thing to get rid of stuff in your house and make it so that you are having a clean slate ready to leave the country. I know my journey is very unique to me, but because of my minimalism, we actually realized we could turn our house into an Airbnb, which then became our first remote income source that allowed us to move abroad to begin with. So if you're somebody who sees that path just like I saw that path all those years ago, that's how I did it is I started with minimalism moved to the Airbnb situation and then moved abroad. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for why you want to leave the United States. Whatever your reasons are for wanting to move to another country, they are enough. All the data supports your idea that leaving is best. Your mental health, your safety, and your future self all deserve to get out. Replying to @justjaimie123 Saying you can’t leave the country because of money is your cover story. There is something deeper happening. You haven’t let your heart accept that leaving is what you really want. When someone wants something badly enough and they let themselves feel that, solutions will come. People make things happen if they want the bad enough. You will have to do things you have never done to go places you have never gone. If money was the only obstacle, you would have figured out how to get it by now. 🆘🇺🇸
Stop waiting to be ready. You will never be ready until after you’ve acted. Moving to a new country will change you. Hold your breath through the fear. You can do scary things and come out the other end a brand new version of yourself. Who you become if you move to one country will be an entirely different person than who you will end if you move somewhere else. Likewise, staying in America will keep you the stuck and the same in all the ways you hate.
