Replying to @morganna776 Don’t assume your ex will block you from moving abroad with your kids. Learn to play off their ego and get them to agree with your international move. You could pitch the idea of them moving with you. You could convince them getting them in the summer is better for them. You could get them to agree to come do their parenting time in the new country on school breaks. Whatever you think will get them on board with the idea of taking the kids out of America…. Shared custody doesn’t always mean disagreeing about the best parenting plan. Focus on selling the idea to your ex in a way that benefits them. 🆘🇺🇸

This idea that somebody would do something in a heartbeat is really interesting to me, because sometimes the things that they say that they would do in a heartbeat are really going to take a lot of effort, a huge amount of effort, and energy, and getting rid of your ego, and convincing, and logistics prep, and all sorts of things, and it definitely cannot happen in a heartbeat. So when it comes to shared custody, some of the things that I have been advising people along this journey is that shared custody agreements can absolutely be amended, and a lot of times there's more overlap on what you want and your ex-partner wants, that you don't even realize, because you're afraid to broach the subject, because you divorce them for a reason. They were probably terrible to deal with, and dealing with them on parenting things is probably equally terrible. Totally get that. There's currently no solution on the table from anywhere in the country that's going to solve the issue of your kids being safe at school or not. And I'm sure you've seen that the Global Peace Index released again today, and for the second year in a row, the United States is ranked 128th safest on that Global Peace Index. And that's a dramatic difference between America supposedly being the greatest country on earth and actually being ranked 128th in peacefulness. People gave me a lot of shit for taking my kids to the Dominican Republic when we first left the United States, but the Dominican Republic is ranked 79th on Global Peacefulness, whereas United States is 128th. So there are a lot of places in this world that are much safer for your children to go to school, where there are not school shootings, where they will not have to do active shooter drills, and getting into alignment with your ex on that situation might be a lot easier than you're anticipating that conversation going. And if you are going to attempt to talk to your ex about potentially taking your kids and moving abroad, I highly recommend going into the conversation about what's in it for them. Don't talk about you, don't even talk about the kids necessarily. You need to pitch it as what is in it for them. How are they going to be benefited from this situation? If your judgment call on what you think would make your ex happiest in the situation, but you might be surprised that if you're choosing some wonderful Caribbean destination as the potential place that you would move with the kids, maybe they'd be super keen to get a hut on the beach next to you, and that would be fine with them. So don't go into it like it's going to be a fight. It might not be a fight, but you need to pitch it for their benefit because all they care about is them, which is probably why you divorce them. If you don't know me yet, I'm Veronica, and I help Americans figure out which countries they're allowed to move to, so you can get the fuck out of America.

Digital nomad visas get a lot of buzz online. But, there is a lot of nuance in what kind of income qualifies. There are nearly 90 visas where some kind of remote income, freelance income, or entrepreneurship income would allow you access to live in a foreign country. Not all of the visas market themselves as digital nomad visas, yet that is effectively what they are. Becoming a digital nomad can come in a lot of shapes and forms. There is not set of standardized requirement for moving abroad. Each country has documents they require, which are what you’d expect:
Birth Certificate
Background Check
Financial Information
Passport
Marriage Certificate Sometimes: health certificates, educational records, and letters of intent. But, the trick is that each country has different rules about how the records must be presented. Apostilles, translations, certified translations, certified copies, or notarized. So, before you start gathering documents, be sure you know which country and which exact visa you are applying for. Your requirements to move abroad will not be the same as that influencer who moved to a different country. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

Right now you are asking, if you should move to another country. I help you answer the question, how can you move to another country. Help me understand what your hang ups are. Every time clients hire me to help them move abroad they have already made the decision to do it. I’m hoping this message reaches people who wish they could move abroad but don’t know how. My role as your move abroad bestie is to turn that dream into reality. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights

Taking kids abroad will have short term and long term benefits. Kids always think their parents did the best they could, but the truth is, this generation of parents could do better. Staying in the comfort zone of America is not the play. Living abroad with kids is without a doubt safer for your kids. You will give your kids the greatest gift of freedom and calm by moving them abraod. Once you see the problems in the US clearly, you can’t unsee them. There is no safety for children in American schools and that alone should be enough to convince you to leave. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights #TikTokEncyclopediaContest
