By staying in the United States you are putting yourself and your kids in unnecessary risk. Not only are they more likely to get shot, but they are ingesting more chemicals, incurring more debt, and have shorter life spans because you stayed. Every data point shows that your choice to stay is negligent. Simply asserting that things are fine does not make them fine. There is no beating the odds when it comes to chronic stress, violence against women, and worse healthcare outcomes. Willful ignorance isn’t cute. 🆘🇺🇸

I get real fired up about people saying that shit happens everywhere, so they might as well just stay in the United States. Listen, I know that you're not a smart person, but statistics matter. 5,151 children were shot in the United States last year. The country that's ranked number two, which is Canada, your number is 9.5 times higher than the Canada number. All right, it is now, shooting is now the leading cause of death in children higher than freaking car crashes. Okay, we've got a problem. It's not just stuff happens everywhere. Among similar nations, the United States homicide rate is three times higher. So, does stuff happen everywhere? Sure, but stuff happens way freaking worse, way freaking more often, in the United States. So, it's not just, oh, it's equally dangerous. It is absolutely not equally dangerous. We already know one in five women in the United States will experience sexual violence. And when you compare the United States to Europe, we have a seven times higher rate of rate in the United States than the women in Europe. So, where are women safer? Not the United States. Absolutely, they are better off if they go to Europe. Even when you just compare something like robbery statistics in Europe, there are 50 robberies for every 100,000 people. And in the United States, there are 200 robberies for every 100,000 people. That is four times worse than Europe. So, no, no, no, we're not going to do the, oh, it happens everywhere. It's dangerous, everywhere. That's absolute utter bullshit. Statistics matter. Because then it translates to what actually happens out there in real life. And in real life, children are safer. Almost anywhere else on the planet, women are safer. Most other places on the planet. The United States has allowed capitalism to be more important than American lives. And that is what you are defending. Things happen everywhere at much lower rates. That's what you're ignoring. You can stick your head in the sand and pretend you're fine. Nothing's going to happen to you. And if you're a white man, that might actually be true. But for the rest of us, the women, the children, we want to get the fuck out because it is not safe for us.

Each country has documents they require, which are what you’d expect: Birth Certificate Background Check Financial Information Passport Marriage Certificate Sometimes: health certificates, educational records, and letters of intent. But, the trick is that each country has different rules about how the records must be presented. Apostilles, translations, certified translations, certified copies, or notarized. So, before you start gathering documents, be sure you know which country and which exact visa you are applying for.
