Digital nomad visas get a lot of buzz online. But, there is a lot of nuance in what kind of income qualifies. There are nearly 90 visas where some kind of remote income, freelance income, or entrepreneurship income would allow you access to live in a foreign country. Not all of the visas market themselves as digital nomad visas, yet that is effectively what they are. Becoming a digital nomad can come in a lot of shapes and forms. If you want to explore your visa options, schedule an exit plan consultation. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest #creatorsearchinsights

Listen, not all digital nomad visas are created equally. I know there are endless articles and videos on social media talking about digital nomad visas. How many visas there are? What are the best visas to go apply for? But the reality is the digital nomad visas are extremely diverse. Not all of the visas that remote income works for are being marketed as digital nomad visas, which means people who aren't experts in this totally leave those visas off of their lists entirely. Because digital nomad visas could mean that they are allowing you to work remotely for an employer that's based outside of the country. They could also mean they want you to be a self-employed or freelancer type of person. They could also mean they need you to register your business inside the country in order to get that visa. They could also mean they are allowing you to have temporary residency or in some cases long-term residency with any kind of income and those are not marketed as digital nomad visas. The reality is visas are diverse and you can qualify with different kinds of remote income for many different visas. There's actually over 80 programs globally that you can qualify for with some kind of remote income and that's going to be a lot of diversity in that. You might have to register your business in that country. You might have to have a local client believe it or not. So next time you see a list and you start day-dreaming about living in a country because you see that they accept digital nomad income. Just remember not all digital nomad income is created equally and you working for an employer versus you being self-employed versus you having an actual company are all different things in the eyes of immigration laws. Because moving abroad is so complicated. I've been toying with this idea of maybe doing a group coaching program for 2026 where I gather people together and if you're ready to leave the United States I have lessons and live Q&As and sort of a 90 day exit plan sort of system. I don't know if that would resonate with people. If you're ready to just jump out of the US and you just need some guidance but you aren't really sure where to turn. I am an expert on how to use remote income retirement income or passive income to move abroad. I've done it with my family for the last five years we've lived on three different continents using our passive and remote income and I'd love to help other Americans figure out how to move out of the United States quickly and I was thinking a group coaching program might be that way where I could help guide a lot of people simultaneously to make their plans together. Let me know in the comments if a group coaching program to help you move abroad will be something you're interested in for 2026.

There is not set of standardized requirement for moving abroad. Each country has documents they require, which are what you’d expect:
Birth Certificate
Background Check
Financial Information
Passport
Marriage Certificate Sometimes: health certificates, educational records, and letters of intent. But, the trick is that each country has different rules about how the records must be presented. Apostilles, translations, certified translations, certified copies, or notarized. So, before you start gathering documents, be sure you know which country and which exact visa you are applying for. Your requirements to move abroad will not be the same as that influencer who moved to a different country. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

Taking kids abroad will have short term and long term benefits. Kids always think their parents did the best they could, but the truth is, this generation of parents could do better. Staying in the comfort zone of America is not the play. Living abroad with kids is without a doubt safer for your kids. You will give your kids the greatest gift of freedom and calm by moving them abraod. Once you see the problems in the US clearly, you can’t unsee them. There is no safety for children in American schools and that alone should be enough to convince you to leave. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

The incentive to work has been fundamentally changed. In America the corporate culture used to represent a series of benefits that were bestowed on workers for grinding away at their careers. At each level of a career there were tangible benefits that they could receive as a reflection of their years of efforts. Paychecks no longer allow workers to afford those levels of living. Vacations, home ownership, new cars, and luxuries used to be a natural part of the corporate ladder life path. Nowadays, full-time workers are on food stamps, receive rent assistance, and need childcare subsidies. Life has become too unaffordable for the average worker to be incentivized to work. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights #TikTokEncyclopediaContest
