The biggest decision in your life was chosen for you. Where you live was chosen by your parents and data shows 80% of people live within the metro region of where they grew up. You never change your geography because it’s uncommon to do so. What if I told you that making an active choice about where you live was the biggest predictor of happiness? Would you really just stay with the default choice? There is an entire world of cities that could be a better fit for you. In fact I don’t know any people who are will thrive best in an un-safe, un-democratic, un-healthy city like the ones we have in the United States. Leaving will give you the chance to thrive instead of just survive. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

No one is ready for this conversation, but your life sucks. And it's not for any of the reasons that you think. The number one predictor of future happiness is where you live. I know there are lots of things that people want to blame on why they are unhappy. Their job, their living situation, their socioeconomic class, but those things pale in comparison to how happy you are based on where you live. And that is not confined to the United States. You don't have to keep living there. I know people right now are thinking to themselves, "I need to move to this other city to be happier. I want to move from very red Texas over to California, for example. That's a huge move that's happening right now. But that move is not even going to touch your happiness compared to if you would move abroad. If you don't know me yet, I'm Veronica. And five years ago, I took my family of four out of the United States for good, and we've had the opportunity to live on three different continents now. And I teach other Americans how they can do the same. How you can figure out which visas around the world you qualify for so you can pick wisely and choose a place that you will be truly happy. Moving out of the United States changes your mental health in a way that you could never have imagined. You are unflugged from the chaos and you are safe in a way you have never experienced if you've always grown up in America. You don't realize what a week that is on you and what that does to your nervous system until you have gotten out. But all of a sudden, you leave and you are not looking for an exit when you're at a mall. Or you are not telling your kids we can't go to that concert because it's not safe. And you are not sending your kids to school with a bulletproof backpack. You get to just relax and that makes people happier than any success that they could have financially in the United States. Because that's the big selling point. The American dream is supposedly this financial, amazing win that you're going to get someday. But none of that matters if you have died in a mass shooting. You will be happier even with less money because you have left. Where you live matters more than any other major decision in your life. It matters more than who you marry. It matters more than if you have children. It matters more than your job. It matters more than any other choice you will ever make. So make it wisely and look into all of the options that you have. not just the ones that are in the country that you currently live.

America’s privatized healthcare system is never going to work for the masses. The poor people can’t afford to pay, which drives up the prices for the middle class who can barely afford it, and the rich are so rich that they don’t pay into the system because they don’t need it. When only a fraction of the people who need insurance are paying in, the system cannot work. Socialized medicine distributes tax dollars in a way that reduces healthcare costs for everyone. Every other developed country offers healthcare as a right, not a privilege. Americans are sick and tired of healthcare being tied to employment, so damn confusing, and insanely unaffordable. Get rid of the private insurance companies and middle men who make trillions in profits while denying coverage. Take care of Americans by giving us access to healthcare as a right. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest #creatorsearchinsights

This is the reason expats are happier than the average American. It’s not just because there are no school shootings or mall shootings. It’s not only because we have access to healthcare and childcare. When we move abroad we get to design our life from the ground up. Every choice we make gets to be about what we want and desire. The alignment that comes from moving abroad can’t be duplicated if you stay in the United States. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

Do you even realize all the ways you change your behavior to keep yourself safe? In a free society there wouldn’t need to be so many safety considerations. You are solving the symptoms but never the underlying problem. Every time you don’t do something you want to do it’s an admission of your lack of freedom. Why is your solution never to just leave and solve the safety concerns? You only want to ignore, avoid, and justify the safety problems in America. If something were to happen to your kids, how would you explain your choice to stay? 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokEncyclopediaContest

When ya’ll watched Titanic, did you relate to those people who were just standing around shooting the shit while the boat was going down? Because you are just sitting there posted up in the United States waiting for things to “go back to normal.” Nothing is going back to normal. You are in a sinking ship. Other Americans are actively loading the life boats and trying to get you to safety, myself included. But, you’re just like, naw I need to have a cup of tea before I get on the boat. These escape plan ideas are for those of you who refuse to do any pre-planning and will be scrambling looking for options at the last minute. You’re behaving this way because you can’t emotionally handle the truth, but it’s hard to freaking watch. Get on the damn life boat and get out of the United States before it’s too late. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights #TikTokEncyclopediaContest
