Just because you have access to all the world's information through your phone does not mean that when you go seek information, it actually gives you the information you think that you're getting. I have a lot of people who come into my comments who talk shit about the countries that I suggest Americans move to. They will say, "Well, that place is so expensive to live." Because every single time they post a screenshot of them googling, "Is it expensive to live in blank? Is it expensive to live in Germany? Is it expensive to live in Australia? Is it expensive to live in Palau?" But the issue is, all of those answers are going to give you if it's expensive for the locals. And the answer to that virtually everywhere in the world is going to be, yes, a cost of living crisis is happening everywhere. pages are not keeping up with inflation and global corporate greed. So in every country, whatever people are getting paid normally is falling behind what it costs to live there as a normal person. And so you're going to Google that place and find that it's expensive to live there. But when you move there and you're bringing your remote income, your passive income, your retirement income into the country, it's a totally different dynamic. Because how much money you have is going to translate into a different amount for that country. Alright, let's say the average wage of that country is $800. A normal person in that country earns $800 per month. But you're coming in and you have like $5,000 per month. Imagine how different your life is going to be if you come in there and you have that much more disposable income than the average person. You're going to have a very comfortable life and you're not going to be suffering from that cost of living crisis. In the United States, that $5,000 is definitely making you suffer from the cost of living crisis because that's not enough to live there. But it is enough to live other places. So I urge you to stop looking for reasons why I am wrong and why I am giving you bad advice and start understanding that your money means something different when you take it to another country. Alright, you could be making 10 times the salary of what an average worker in that country makes and then you will not be suffering from the cost of living crisis that that country is experiencing based on their wages. The constant stress about one emergency destroying you financially becomes manageable situation where emergencies are expensive but not catastrophic. Same income. Same skills. Same person. Move those resources to location where they work better, and you're not stuck anymore.
