This is one of the most iconic scenes in movie history. In what a lot of you don't realize, it's actually a masterclass in marketing. I'm gonna show you how M&M in this scene teaches you everything you need to know about making better TikTok shot videos. Let me explain. ♪ I know everything he's got to say it gives me ♪ ♪ I am white, I am a fucking bomb ♪ ♪ I do live in a train with my mom ♪ ♪ My poor future isn't up in time ♪ ♪ I do gotta jump right in each other Bob ♪ ♪ Who suits himself and his leg but it's all gone ♪ ♪ I did get dumped by all sexy people ♪ This is part four out of five of the Alex Hermosi series for TikTok shot affiliates. Part one, two and three are already up. This one is going to teach you what M&M just did. Hermosi calls this damaging admissions. It might be the single most powerful trick in this entire series. You're gonna wanna save this. Here's what happened. M&M in the movie, New Doc was about to flame him. So instead of waiting for it, he just called out every single flaw on his own first. He's white, he's a bomb. He lives in a trailer with his mom. He named every single thing before his opponent could use it against him. And by doing that, there's nothing left. Whatever Doc wanted to say, M already said it about himself. This is exactly what Hermosi teaches you to do in marketing. He calls it damaging admissions. You call out the flaws before the viewer can. When you do this, you make everything you're going to say next way more believable. Here's the exact structure. You're gonna wanna write this down. You say an honest flaw, but the real benefit. The flaw earns you trust and the butt amplifies whatever's coming next. The viewer's brain that has been filtering every TikTok shot video as commercials, finally drops its defense. Because you didn't pretend the product was perfect. You're a real person, so they listen. Most affiliates pretend that their products are perfect. It's amazing. I loved it. It changed my life. The viewer's brain throws that in the trash before you even finish the sentence because nothing is perfect. The second that you admit something isn't perfect, your credibility skyrocket. I'm gonna give you three quick examples of what this looks like in scripts. Bad. This pill is the most comfortable thing I ever slept on. It sounds like every other ad. Honestly, the pillow is kind of ugly, but it fixed my neck pain in like six days. Now, I might believe you. Bad, this serum cleared my skin overnight. Yeah, sure it did. Good. This serum does kind of smell weird like the first two days, but it did clear the patch of acne I've had since like high school in two weeks. Now I might click the link down below. One more, bad. These jeans are the perfect fit, whatever. Good. These jeans do run a little small and for the first week they are kind of stiff, but after the first week they're the only jeans I want to wear. Now, I trust you. Do you see the pattern here? You claim something real about the product, something that no other affiliate is willing to say? And then what you say that follows that hits 10 times harder. So here's the M&M rule for TikTok shop affiliates. Whatever the viewer is silently thinking that might stop them from buying the product, just claim that for beat them to it. Be the affiliate that is honest enough to say what nobody else will. The flaw earns trust and trust makes people buy. M won the battle by having nothing else for Doc left to say. You can do the same thing to sell more products. Part five, the final part drops tomorrow. so follow us so you can see it.
