TikTok Shop isn’t just a content game. It’s a sales game. Most affiliate creators won’t admit that. I’ve done $3.5M in GMV and the difference between the affiliates making millions and the ones making nothing is sales psychology. Part 1 of 5. Save it. #tiktokshop #tiktokshopaffiliate #sales #phychology

I'm about to teach you a borderline manipulative sales tactic, but it's maybe millions on TikTok shop. Those creators will not talk about this stuff because it makes them a little bit uncomfortable. But here's the truth. TikTok shop is not just a content game. It's a sales game. And if you actually want videos to convert, you have to learn how to manipulate trust. Transparently, I have spent hundreds of hours studying sales psychology. I'm not gonna lie, I'm borderline obsessed with it. It is not because I want to become a salesman. It's because it helps me make more money. I have done $3.5 million in GMV as a TikTok shop affiliate. This is not just theory. This is what's actually working at the highest level. This is part one of five, save this video. The first tactic of this series is what I like to call the fake flaw. Picture this. You walk into a dealership and you're looking for a Porsche 911. The salesman, he knows you don't have kids. He knows you're a single dude living by yourself and you just want a fast car. Instead of pitching you hard, he just waits a second and shrugs and says something like, honestly man, it's up to you. This one doesn't have a lot of space in the back. If you need shrunk space for, you know, the kids and the wife, I wouldn't go with this one. But if you don't care about that, it's a solid choice. That's it. That's the whole move. You drive home and what do you tell your friends right when you get there? The salesman was so chill, bro. He literally, he wasn't trying to sell me at all. He actually told me not to get this car, but I just decided myself that I wanted this. That's the moment you've been manipulated and you had no idea. Because deep down, the salesman knew exactly what he was doing. The flaw that he picked out, it didn't matter to you. He knew you didn't have kids. He knew you didn't have a wife. He knew you wanted a fast car and didn't need space in the back seat. He gave up nothing and he gained total trust. That's the fake flaw. You strategically give up something that sounds like a negative, but you know it means nothing to the person you're trying to sell to. You spend nothing and you gain everything. And I know what you're thinking. I don't want to be a salesman. I just want to be a content creator. And look, I get it. No one wants to be the salesy guy at the dealership. Everyone hates that guy, but I've bad news for you. If you do TikTok shop, you're doing sales. Every single video you post is a sales pitch. The only question is whether it's a good one or a bad one. The affiliates making the real money, if we're going to be honest, have just learned to embrace it. The ones still struggling to make money are just sharing products they love. Here's how the fake flaw looks in action on TikTok shop. Instead of saying something like, "This serum is the best serum I've ever used," you have to give it a try 10 out of 10. I would say something more like, you know, the smell is a little bit weird. So if you're sensitive to the smells, I probably wouldn't get this serum, but it did work in like two weeks. And it was like the best $14 I've ever spent. You're not really selling them, right? You're just casually telling them what's up. Or even something like, you know, this packaging is a little bit cheap. I'm not going to lie. So if you really do care about that, I probably wouldn't get this. But if you just care about whether it works or not, this thing has completely changed my confidence. Viewer walks away thinking, "Yeah, no shot that guy's trying to sell me." And they go ahead and buy. Test this out this month and see if it makes a difference in your conversion rate. Part two drops next and the tactic is going to be even more powerful. I think creators are leaving thousands of dollars on the table without realizing. Follow so you don't miss it.
