your life has a plan for you, too

If you're not open to trust the timing of your life, you might be trying to force the hand of the mystery. Have you corded the dance of time and relaxed into those wide, impossible arms? To trust is to meet what is as it comes and open to the creative mind and soul of the world. Your life has a plan for you too. Breath, by breath, by breath, slow your life down. The hurry may have already caught you. You are needed, right where you are. Rute that wild heart of yours in the real, beyond the rush. Ask your feet where you are. Find above, find below. Your visions do not come from you, do they? Rather, they move through you, into you. Lightning and bark, clay on damp air. Do trust the timeless field from which they come and the same to which they go. Be thankful. You are the one who can carry just as much as you can see. I wrote this piece the other night because I was just feeling into how in this chapter of my life, no matter how much I envision and plan and dream and open to receive like the subtle information about what's unfolding in this cycle and season of my life, that there really is a participant on the other side. The mystery, the beloved mystery, that is an animate power and it has agency and I have to trust it like a lover, like a true romantic, not trying to manipulate and force things to go, how I want them to go but really entering into this deeper, relaxed, unhurried, kind of erotic state of a lover to actually just be with my life as an unfolds. And I've also been thinking a lot about what is my responsibility and what am I actually tasked to hold and to steward and to tend. And that's why I wrote you can hold. You are the one who can carry just as much as you can see. Sort of like only what is right here with you right now, like that is your responsibility and not that you can't take on more but sometimes we rush past the real to take on some kind of conceptual, like, you know, next octave, load to carry. But first things first, can we return to our feet knowing where we are and can we move from there and trust it. So just wanted to share what I wrote the other night.
