I'm going on my honeymoon without my husband and we're probably going to end up getting divorced. Storytime, now my husband Steve has always been extremely close with his little sister Amy. And at first I thought this was really sweet. Until it kind of became a situation in which whenever Amy needed something our plans would be the ones that got ruined. For example Amy just needed a quick ride to the airport so he cancelled our entire anniversary dinner. Can she not Uber? I feel like it's probably a good time to mention that Amy has a whole ass husband. She is married. So me and Steve got married last week and what do you know? His little sister went into labor during the reception. Obviously I can't be mad about the timing. She can't help that. But on Steve's request we had to end the reception early so we could all go to the hospital. Everything went great with the birth. She's happy. She's healthy. The baby's happy and healthy too. And she's already at home now. Me and Steve are supposed to be leaving on a honeymoon in two days time. Yesterday he comes to me and he tells me that we can't go anymore. I genuinely thought this man was kidding at first so I laughed in his face. Amy had called him and said that she really needs him to not go that he needs to come and move in with her and her husband so that he can help take care of the baby. I am obviously so confused because she has an eternity leave. He has paternity leave. Both sets of grandparents live nearby and don't have a job so they can go and help. So I'm just confused as to why my husband needs to cancel his honeymoon to go and live with his little sister. No he's the thing. I had always wanted a pretty big wedding but Steve was like no why don't we do a bit more of a low key wedding and then we can blow that budget on the honeymoon. Which by the way is super non-refundable. By all means Steve tell Amy that you are happy to help out next week when we're back off our honeymoon. So I got to the okay fine whatever part of this argument pretty quick and I said well I'm just gonna go have a great time in Greece without you and this man gets real quiet real quick and he's like what do you mean go to Greece. I said you know that place that we're going on our honeymoon and he is like uh what what like no you're not gonna go on the honeymoon without me bet. He then goes that would be so selfish of you to do. You need to be here in case we need your help as well. He told me that because I'm family now I also need to be on call if his sister needs any help. Are we sure that Steve isn't the father of his sister's child? I said Steve listen I am more than happy to help her out when I am back from Greece. I spent so much of my own savings on this so I will be enjoying it. He's like you are being so selfish you're disrespecting me you're disrespecting my family you're disrespecting my look oh disrespecting my little sister first of all you want to talk about disrespect Steve it's disrespect of your sister to know we are going on our honeymoon and ask you to stay behind and not go. He told me that if I end up going on this holiday that I would come home to divorce papers. So now Steve is at his little sisters I'm packing for Greece and I think I'm gonna be divorced when I have been married for less than a week. What do you think?
