Am I wrong for telling my best friend's boyfriend that she cheated on him? Story time. So going right back to the start, me and Amy had been best friends for like 10 years. She got with her boyfriend Steve about two years ago and I have honestly never been fond of him. But because he was dating my best friend, I made the efforts get on with him. Over the past year, me and Amy have stopped seeing each other as much. Now, on the other occasion, we all would go out as a three. And when I asked Amy about why can't we do stuff just the three of us anymore, she said that Steve said that she wasn't allowed ill. And then one day, all of this just completely stopped. So I must have looked the courage to speak to Amy and ask her what the problem was. And she basically told me that Steve said that he hated me and that I was the problem and that we weren't to be friends anymore. And that Amy just wasn't allowed to be around me. But little did me and Steve know, Amy was saying this to both of us. And because all of this was going on, my and Amy's friendship kind of drifted. And you know, I naturally made new friends because I didn't have any anymore. But I can tell you, Amy was absolutely fuming that I had done this. She went off at me, sliding off all of my new friends, calling them selfish, calling me selfish. But the pot thickens. I kind of decided that, you know, people make mistakes. And I did really want to salvage to friendship. We made plans to meet at 8 p.m. So it gets to half seven. And I have not heard anything from Amy for hours. Now, just kind of assumed she was busy, you know, we're all adults. But then it hit eight o'clock. Nothing. I called three times. And each time there was no response. And this is when I finally hear from her. She says I'm so sorry. I will fill you in when I see you. So when I picked her up, she was basically like, yeah, I'm going to break up with Steve. And I was kind of like, well thank, but for that, because I'm going to have my friend back. So for a little bit of context, Amy had recently changed jobs. And then I actually told me that we were going to meet up with her new work colleagues. Are you seeing where this is going? One of the colleagues that we met up with was in fact me. And halfway through the night, we'll call this guy Dave. Her and Dave started sliding off Steve. Dave was going in on Steve. And what makes everything worse is that Amy was just like going along with it all. And surprisingly, that night Amy did actually break up with Steve. Steve was absolutely heartbroken. He was destroyed. He was so confused. Our gasteids were flabbergred. But as I'm sure you can probably put two and two together and work out. Amy was in fact sleeping with this guy from work. And how I finally got proof of this was she had lied to her boyfriend and her family about her location. And they said that she was with me. I was out with my other friends. The ones that don't cheat on their partners. And I was posting stories with them and they all got really confused. So a few weeks later, I am out with my friends and I bumped into Steve, the ex boyfriend. And he came up to me begging me for answers because he still had no idea why she broke up with him. Now here's the thing. At this moment in time, I became a little bit of a minis. I just told Steve everything. Anything this man wanted to know, I would sell him. He was obviously so heartbroken he actually went back to Amy. And Amy was not pleased. Honestly, the audacity on this girl because then she gets into my DMs telling me she's going to key my car. She's telling me it's my fault that her relationship ended. So anyway, I can assure you that after all of this, we are no longer friends. And I will not be going back there anytime soon.
