My husband just told his friend that he's worried how I'm gonna look in our wedding photos through time. So early today, I was on his iPad in our room because we don't have a TV in our room. Whilst I was watching my show, a couple of texts were coming through from his friend Dave. And as I was trying to swipe one away, I accidentally opened it. So listen, I know that I am not the conventionally attractive woman. And even throughout my life, I've been referred to as a starter girlfriend or a stepping stone. So these texts that my Steve was sending to his friend Dave were pictures of me from different angles saying, "I'm trying to work out what her best angle is." And this is when my fiance, Senator Text, saying, "I guess her left side is tolerable." And then Dave replies, "Yeah, I agree. Probably just worth telling the photographer to focus on that side." I'm sorry, did we find these men in the pits of the sewers? What is happening? Honestly, I was so shocked. I didn't think this could get any worse. And then it did. Steve says, "I honestly think I want to marry her, but maybe I just need to ask the photographer to edit a couple of things here and there. Just know for a fact that Steve looks like he's easy to draw." Dave then replies and says, "Yeah, maybe, but if it makes you feel better, just make sure that you have all your photos taken straight on since I think she looks best that way." To be honest, girls, in this situation, I was more offended than her. And like I say, listen, I know that I'm not conventionally attractive. But to say I need editing in my wedding pictures, just feel the little bit extreme. And then, you know, to top it all off, it kind of just feels a bit rude and demeaning. Um, yeah. I didn't quite know how to go about this whole situation, so I took a picture of my phone with the screen of the iPad. And then I closed the screen down. So the first thing that will be open when he opens it again is that conversation. When I handed it back to him, he was like, "Hey, how was the movie?" And I was like, "Yeah, it was very insightful." Now, I am not very good at hiding my emotions at all, so he knew for a fact that something was up. I told him that I was just feeling a little bit sick still, and that I didn't really want to talk about it anymore. Well, he kept pestering me. He was like, "I'm concerned for you." So I just said to him, "Why do you speak to Dave Bowie?" Considering the two of you were so concerned about me, this man went ghost-wide, and then he was like, "What do you mean?" And that is when I told him to open the iPad. I went back to my bedroom and shut the door. Now Steve hasn't come to speak to me for hours. Normally we are talking through kind of couple but I don't know what to do now.
