even flow wide glass bottle versus the glass pigeon bottle. The biggest difference of these two bottles is the nipple type. So both of them pass that triangle test. This is the even flow bottle, but I will say this nipple is a bit firmer compared to the pigeon bottle. This one also passes that triangle test, but this nipple is really soft and squishy. And the nipple shape differs just a little bit. Here's an up close look of it. The even flow wide has a little bit of a widening part right here. The even flow bottle is six ounces, whereas the pigeon is five ounces. And I don't think you can get any other options in the glass bottle. Their venting system looks a little bit different. So with the even flow glass, you have this notch. And some of the even flow bottles, the collar has a little notch that you actually have to line it up with. And a lot of people complain that that can be hard. The pigeon vent just has a little hole in it. So with both of these, when you're using them, you want to make sure the vent is towards the ceiling. So pointing up, that'll help with the venting system. But with both of these nipples passing the triangle test, they're both going to promote a deeper latch, which is what you want when you're bottle feeding. Your baby should be able to take either or it would be weird if a baby was refusing one or the other. However, maybe you find that your baby likes to structure a little bit more or they don't want that structure and they like the softness. So you've got different options. Now the flow is also different. So the pigeon super slow flow is going to be much slower than the even flow slow flow. The slow flow in the even flow bottle is still kind of fast. So you really want to make sure you're using that pace feeding technique. Whereas that pigeon bottle, it's going to be much slower. So it is nice that this has an option with an even slower flow. If you have any other questions about these bottles, let me know.
