Replying to @sananiiiii8 Comotomo just released a new bottle and it still sucks 👎 It doesn’t pass the Triangle Test and it’s not interchangeable with the old bottle. It’s currently only offered in yellow. You know I buy all the baby bottles and Komotomo just came out with a new one. This is their new option. This is the old one. It comes in green, pink. Their new one comes in yellow. So far yellow is the only color option. The bottle is still silicone holding five ounces. And the nipple shape is a little bit different here. So the new shape it does have a little bit more of a tapered slope to it, which is a good thing. I think they're moving in the right direction, but still does not pass the triangle test. So this is a nipple shape that is going to promote a shallow latch. Baby is not going to be able to take in a big mouthful of that nipple. Just like the old one and I would avoid this baby bottle because of that, the nipple also seems to be a little bit of a different texture too. And I see here that the flows are also outlined on the nipple, which is nice. The last one does not have flows label. So the way that you would know what flow it is, you actually have to count the holes on the top. So for example, we see here you've got P. There is a one droplet, two droplet. So the one droplet is going to be your slow. The P is creamy. And so if you've got your slow flow, that one droplet, that means there's one hole in the top where your medium flow, I guess, there's going to be two holes on the top. So that's how you would know what flow you have in this old bottle. So I do like that they actually labeled their nipples this time. Now let me put some water in here real quick so we can test the flow. Okay, so I put some water in here now and I was also noticing a couple other differences between these bottles. So the new one does have black markers now. So it's a little bit clearer compared to the last one and the base is also wider. So it's going to be a little bit sturdier standing up as well. All right, now let's look at the flow of these bottles. So they both start dripping right away upside down. One big downfall of silicone bottles is that when you squeeze them, milk starts spraying. These are both pretty fast. I honestly think the newer version that stream actually looks bigger than the older version. So I don't think this is a super slow flow, but it does look like they have a premium option. And then something else to keep in mind is that it looks like the lids don't fit on each other, which is really annoying. So I'm going to try and put the new lid on the old bottle. It's definitely screwing on. Okay, nope. That does not work. Let me try the old lid on the new bottle. Doesn't look like it fits right? This is so strange. This does not screw on. It is crooked. Oh no, okay, still dripping. So no, that is not working. Now I'm going to try to change the nipples and see if that works. So I'm going to take the new one and see if that fits in the old ring. Let's see if this works. Okay, it's actually, it's not sitting flush on the collar. It looks like it's too big. Okay, that's not working. I can't even screw it on. Let me try the other way around. So new collar, old nipple, new bottle. Okay, it screws on. Okay, this actually works. So if you really wanted to, you could actually put the old nipple on the new bottle. However, I wouldn't recommend it because both nipple shapes suck honestly. And I find it really annoying that they design this differently, so you can't change them back and forth. Just remind me of Apple and how they keep coming up with new iPhones and new chargers just to get your money. So I think this is ridiculous. This is not baby battle, I would recommend.
