Neuroscience method to stop being so pissed off… but let’s say it straight. Anger feels powerful because it gives you energy. But unmanaged anger is not power… it’s leakage. Every time you snap, stew, replay, or vent… you are training your brain to live there. That’s Hebb’s Law in real life. Neurons that fire together wire together. So if anger is your go-to… it becomes your baseline. And here’s the part nobody tells you: Chronic anger doesn’t just feel bad… it rewires you. It shrinks the very parts of your brain responsible for learning, memory, creativity, and good decision-making. That means the more you live in anger… the less access you have to your best thinking. You don’t just feel worse. You function worse. So what do you do? You don’t suppress anger. You don’t fake calm. You redirect it. Because anger is just adrenaline looking for a job. And if you don’t assign it one… it assigns itself. Usually to destruction. Here’s the move: Interrupt the pattern. Break the loop fast. Clap. Move. Cold water. Change state. Your brain runs on prediction… break the prediction and the loop collapses. Then anchor your attention. Get out of the story and into the body. Feel your hands. Temperature. Pressure. Contact. You cannot be fully present in your body and fully lost in anger at the same time. That’s not philosophy… that’s wiring. Then give the energy a direction. Write the message… don’t send it. Lift something heavy. Solve one thing you’ve been avoiding. Turn heat into output. Because adrenaline is fuel. Used right… it builds. Left alone… it burns. What you do repeatedly becomes your frequency. So if anger is your habit… it becomes your identity. But if you learn to redirect it… it becomes your edge. That’s the shift. That’s how you take your power back. Follow me and comment up spiral and I’ll show you how to train this at a whole different level. #anger #neuroscience #emotionalcontrol #selfmastery #upspiral

Here's a neuroscience method to stop being so pissed off. Being pissed off feels strong in the moment, but it's burning your brain. If you're new here, I'm likely to help you master your energy so you can upspiral your life. If you're into that, follow me and click the link in my bio. Chronic anger spikes your adrenaline and cortisol, and over time that shrinks your hippocampus and your prefrontal cortex. These are the brain regions responsible for learning memory and creativity, and Chronic anger makes them smaller. You're literally losing IQ points. Anger feels like a release, it's not, it's a rehearsal. Because every time you run the anger circuit, you make it stronger. That's Hebs Law, neurons that fire together, wire together. So you're not venting the anger, you're practicing it more deeply in, you're training it. It's time for you to do a U-turn. Step 1. Interrupt the pattern. Sing happy birthday. Splash cold water on your face. Do deep knee bends. This works because your brain runs on prediction loops, and an unexpected pattern break forces your brain to pause the anger script. No script, no automatic anger. Step 2. Anchor your attention. Hold up your hand, and feel the temperature of the air with the palm of your hand. Now feel your fingertips. Now feel the back of your hand. This works because your hands have so many nerve endings in them, they take up a huge amount of the real estate of your sensory cortex. And when you activate your sensory cortex like this, it pulls activity out of your default mode network, which is the part of your brain that's looping the story of the anger. This exercise anchors you fully in present moment body awareness, and you can't stay fully pissed off and fully present in your body at the same time. Sensory awareness cancels out your anger. Step 3. Give the energy a direction. Because anger's just adrenaline looking for a job to do, so give it a job. Write the text you'd like to send. But don't send it, or lift something heavy, or solve one small problem you've been avoiding. Adrenaline is fuel, and if you don't direct it, it burns you, and if you do direct it, it builds you. Here's the big takeaway. You don't calm down by trying to be calm. You redirect your system, interrupt it, anchor it, and reassign it. That's power, and that's how you upspiral your life. Follow me and comment upspiral, and I'll send you some more information about my unique manifestation program. In that program, we give you tools based in neuroscience to put you back in control of your life. Follow me and comment upspiral. Hi, Brent Beings. Have a great day.

Worry feels productive. It’s not. It’s training your brain to expect problems, weakening your decision-making, and locking you into stress loops. Your nervous system doesn’t know the difference between imagined danger and real danger. So every “what if” becomes a rehearsal. Shift the pattern. Train your brain on purpose. Comment “brain” if you’re done letting worry run the show. #neuroscience #anxietyrelief #mindsetshift #manifestation #nervoussystem

Most addictive substance in the world? Not alcohol. Not nicotine. Not drugs. It’s your own emotions. Stress, worry, anxiety… they come with a chemical payoff. And your body gets hooked. Cortisol and adrenaline create intensity. Your brain reads that as important. So you replay, overthink, and loop. Then it becomes familiar. And what’s familiar feels safe… even when it hurts. Over time, stress chemistry blunts dopamine. So normal life feels flat. And you need more intensity just to feel something. That’s the loop. Break it in 60 seconds. Name it. Breathe slow. Feel your hands. Shift out of the story… and back into your body. Because the emotion isn’t the problem. The addiction to the chemistry is. #StressRelief #anxietyhelp #nervoussystem #mentalhealthtools #emotionalregulation

Here’s the truth about anger nobody tells you: It doesn’t make you powerful… it makes you predictable. Every time you stay angry, your brain literally shifts into survival mode—less clarity, less control, more reactivity. The good news? You can interrupt that loop. This is how you take your power back—neurologically, not just mentally. Follow me and comment upspiral and I’ll send you more about how to retrain your brain for real control. #anger #emotionalintelligence #neuroscience #selfmastery #mindsetshift
