My best friend's fiance admitted he loved me a week before their wedding through time. So let me give you a little bit of context here. My incredible husband passed away two years ago. So let me now introduce you to my best friend since primary school, Steve. We lived on the same state growing up and we'd always play out together. The weirdest part of all of this is we have completely different personalities. Steve's extremely outgoing and has loads of friends. I'm extremely introverted and only need a few friends. I literally have Steve and a couple of others and that's perfect for me. Now something you need to know about Steve, he has a serial data. I can count on one hand the amount of times he was single. He would jump from relationship to relationship. But after uni we kind of lost touch a little bit because I got a job in a different city. So last year Steve and his fiance Amy actually moved to the city I live in. And as I'm still grieving they've both been incredible supports to me. And through Steve I've become really really close with Amy. My daughter absolutely loves dancing and Steve has enrolled her in a dance school and is paying for her lessons. They both sometimes come round and babysit my daughter so I can just have an evening with friends or go to the gym. They are just truly incredible and I couldn't thank Amy enough for stepping in for me. Now all of this sounds absolutely great doesn't it? What a sweet dynamic we have. Yeah it was up until last week when Steve gave me a call and asked me if we could talk. His tone was so serious and he sat on my sofa. Then told me that for the past few months he has been developing feelings for me and said that he wasn't sure whether he wanted to go ahead with his wedding or not. That was a bit confused. And then Steve says that he believes that I have also started developing feelings for him too. I was like listen Steve first of all I'm not ready for any relationship. Steve then spent over an hour trying to convince me that he did love me and that I loved him and we were soulmates. Said in his heart he knew that we were meant to be together. He's been a big part of my life. Yes, but I do not love him. So once we couldn't come to an agreement Steve ended up leaving and he called me that night telling me not to tell anyone about our conversation. So now I'm stuck between two decisions. Do I tell us fiance or just keep it to myself? And for me I guess it all boils down to the point of do I have the right to ruin their wedding. Let me know.
