There are four types of content creators only for. And the moment you figure out which one you are, is the moment the content creation becomes much easier, growth becomes much faster, and making money from your content starts to make a lot more sense. Because one of the biggest mistakes you can make is trying to copy what works for somebody else who's brain works totally differently from yours. You need to tap into your strengths. The four creator archetypes is something that I teach in detail in the content club, which is my course on community for content creators. I have an entire module to help you figure out which one you are, what content you should be creating, and what way you should be monetizing. So the first type of creator is a messenger. Messengers deliver perspective. They change the way people think. They often give those mic drop moments. They share opinions, they challenge beliefs, they start conversations. People follow because of the way that you see the world. Your content is often very visually simple, talking directly to camera, because the value is in the idea of what you're actually saying. And because people are so bought into how you think the way that you monetize is usually through things like podcasts, YouTube channels, Patreon, sub stacks, any kind of subscription, community, books, maybe speaking engagements. Next type of creator is an educator, and these people are really good at breaking complex ideas into simple and clear results. These people are often experts in a space or a field or a topic, but not all the time, because sometimes the smartest people aren't always the best teachers. But it could be fitness creators, food creators, makeup artists, photographers, like business creators. Our content is often things like tutorials, processes, step-by-step guides, deep dives on a topic. And these are often the easiest to monetize because the gap between the content and a product is quite small. So often it's digital products, courses, guides, community, that kind of thing. Then we have storytellers, and the value of these creators is in how they make people fail. Often it is lifestyle creators, vloggers, anybody on a journey or a transformation, anything where there's a strong narrative art. Content is quite storytelling, so it's vlogs, it's day-in-the-life content, it's any kind of behind-the-scenes, any personal stories. And because people are so invested in you and trust you so much, the way that you monetize is through brand deals, affiliate marketing, and recommending products. And then the final type of creator is a vibe, bringer. And this is somebody whose content is very aesthetically driven, it's very engaging to watch. These people are masters of creating an atmosphere. It could be fashion creators, it could be food creators, it could be technology creators, it could be people who post like cinematic edits, anything to do with photography. People are buying into the feeling so the way that you monetize can be through sponsorships or brand deals, but it could also be through your own products, merchandise, physical products, digital products. Most content creators will have a primary type and a secondary type. I'm primarily an educator with a bit of a messenger. I'm telling you now, growth happens when you stop trying to copy what works for other people and you stop fighting who you are.
