I have helped thousands of content creators grow and I mean not quite literally thousands of content creators and for the vast majority of people who are not getting results it's because they haven't mastered the B6 and before you scroll away and think to yourself I do know the B6 no you're gonna watch this video because I cannot tell you how many content creators I have worked with they tell me they understand the fundamentals I look at their account and I'm like no you don't because creating content is kind of like building a house there's a house being built across the road for me that's the background noise but it's kind of like that right people want to jump to choosing the paint colors and the finish but you can have the nicest kitchen in the world but if the foundations aren't strong the big bad wolf is gonna blow it down. The fundamental number one is it ridiculously clear what your video is about from the first second from the first second it lands in front of somebody do they know what they're going to get you need to spell it out scream it from the rooftops if it's so much clear then you think you need to make it if I am making a video for example about green scarves I am going to make sure that I say at the start of the video these are the five green scarves that every woman should own I'm gonna have texts on the screen that says my top five luxury green scarves I'm going to show a green scarf in the video I am going to make sure I have captions turned on my description talks about green scarves if I use hashtags they're going to be about green scarves gonna give the algorithm so much information so it can confidently serve my content to the right audience because if it doesn't know who to serve it to it's gonna serve it to a random group of people who may or may not engage and if they don't you're not gonna get used second fundamental who is your content for you need to know who you're speaking to when you're creating content again so the algorithm knows who to serve it to but when you have a target audience in mind it changes the way you speak the language you use the tone the things you talk about fundamental number three is there a reason to keep watching this video your hook and what you're talking about is gonna stop people scrolling but is there a reason for them to keep watching what are they going to get from this video and is that clear in the first couple of seconds which brings me to fundamental number four what is the value of your content there needs to be something in it for the audience and value does not just mean education or information it can be a moment of escapism a perspective shift a new opinion a recommendation a laugh in fundamental number five does your content look and feel native to the platform it needs to look like a social media post you need to be using fonts and colors and text on the screen that is needed to the platform use the classic simple fonts they always perform best and then fundamental number six is what you're posting about actually worth caring about is this an interesting topic because you can make the best video in the world but if people aren't interested in what you're saying it's going to flop so ask yourself is this topic already interesting to people care about this can I make it interesting or can I add something new to it if the answer to all of those questions is no people probably aren't gonna care the basics are boring but it's the boring stuff that actually makes a difference everything else you do is just icing sprinkling cherry on top
