Nobody really talks about how painful and scary it is to be stuck as an affiliate. Stuck making a couple of thousands and not finding that breakthrough to that five-figure mark. Stuck after making good money, maybe multiple five-figures, even six-figures, and not knowing how to move past it. I've been stuck multiple times, and you'll find along your journey that the solution can really be distilled down into one of these three levers, if not multiple. And if you could figure out which of these to pull, you can jump a level or two. Number one here is your data and analytics. Your data is going to dictate how much you test, what you test, and what you don't test. So when all your understanding of your analytics can either hold you down and keep you stuck or drag you out of the mud. Back the first time I fell stuck when I was making a couple thousand, I was able to observe that objectively all of my analytics and data were checking out. The average watch time is really good, the percent that finished the full video was really good, and back then your light to view ratio mattered, and that was really good. So looking at the objective data, I realized that the issue was obvious. Now I didn't know why people bought it, I can make a video go viral, and everything else will check out, but I don't know how to get the video to convert. So I was able to attack that problem in the very next month, I did my first 10k. Now the second go around, I got stuck, I plateaued, I made multiple five figures, low five figures a month, and by studying my data, I realized I did not know how to stretch out a win. So I went and learned how to test my way out of the hole, I analyzed my data, iterated based on it, and it was able to build out a strategy that helped me continue to win once I finally found a win. So you understand your data and analytics will make or break you. Number two is your short form content and content that sells. This isn't just for affiliates that are making a couple grand or trying to get to the first five figures. This is even more important for affiliates that are making multiple five figures, potentially high five figures, six figures per month, we'll get you in a second. You have to study short form content. What falls under here isn't just framing, lighting, you're positioning in the video, but you understand why people watch and finish short form content. Do you know what gets the viewer to tick and specifically your viewer to tick? Can you grab, lose, and re-grab attention throughout the entire video? Can you create enough of the right emotion to funnel them to the video and buy, if not, you should be studying. Now for affiliates that are making a good amount of money, since you perform well, you get stuck because you stop testing. You close yourself off to new styles of formats because you've got stuff that have proven to make you good amount of money. But I've been there and after my first eight months of being affiliate, being faceless and voiceless, I got out of my shell, I tried something new, I saw my face, I started talking on camera and I hit my biggest month. And I've seen this happen again and again with affiliates on all levels, which leads me to number three, because affiliates have this problem on all levels when they get stuck. Product selection. What is your strategy? What is your system for running new products? How often are you trying new products? You know how to objectively analyze whether this product is worth your energy or not. And better yet, you have a system to analyze whether the product that you're on is wasting your time currently. Maybe the objective data is telling you it's time to pivot. Product selection is seven out of ten times, the biggest thing that's holding someone in place. Lock your strategy in, base it on something that's objective, and stick to it. Use it to dig yourself out of that hole. So one more time, the three lovers of pull. Obsess over your data analytics, short form content, specifically short form content that sells and product selection. Those are your three lovers.
