There has never been a person leaving America to another country where everything has gone to plan. The most valuable skill for any person living abroad is flexibility. Never get stuck on a path without being willing to pivot. You could spend your whole life analyzing and planning for different scenarios that will never happen. Instead, you should just start the process and see how it all shakes out. Remember, moving out of the country isn’t hard, it’s just specific. There is a way and that way is forward. If you need help figuring out your American exit plan, schedule a call with me. Moving to another country will never get easier the longer you wait, it will only get harder, more complicated, and less likely. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights

Replying to @alittlestitious3 Trying is word people use when they want credit for intention without accountability for execution. You don't try to order passport. You order it or you don't. You don't try to research visa programs. You identify which ones match your income type or you continue scrolling content about countries without ever determining if you qualify for any of them. You don't try to build remote income. You pitch clients, get rejected, adjust approach, pitch more clients, land one, do the work, get paid - or you research business ideas indefinitely without ever offering services to anyone. Trying is perpetual state that requires no evidence of forward motion. Doing requires demonstrable progress or honest acknowledgment that you're not actually doing it. Year of trying with zero progress means one of two things: you're attempting strategy that doesn't work and refusing to adjust, or you're not attempting anything and calling the research phase "trying." Most people in year of trying are in second category. They're consuming information, thinking about options, feeling like they're working on it because they're mentally engaged with concept. But mental engagement isn't execution. If you've been "trying" to move abroad for year and you're not abroad or actively in visa application process with approval pending, you haven't been trying. You've been thinking about trying. Different activity. What does actual trying look like? Ordered documents that take months to get. Applied for visa and waiting on approval. Building remote income that's at $1,500/month working toward $3,000. Saving specific amount monthly toward relocation fund. Narrowed countries from 100+ options to 3-5 you actually qualify for and are choosing between. Those are concrete demonstrable actions showing forward motion. "I've been researching" for year straight with nothing to show for it isn't trying. It's avoidance disguised as preparation. The universe isn't keeping you stuck. You're keeping you stuck. And saying "I go willingly, universe" like you're passenger in your own life waiting for external force to relocate you is аbdicating responsibility for decisions and actions that are entirely within your control. Universe doesn't move you abroad. You decide to move abroad, then you do things that result in moving abroad. Passport application, visa application, income documentation, plane ticket purchase, relocation execution. None of those require universe's permission. They require your decision followed by your action. Link in bio for people ready to stop trying and start doing. What have you actually done in your year of "trying"? 🆘🇺🇸

Replying to @user4403013943825 Wanting accountability for systemic injustice is not the same thing as celebrating when others suffer. One is about justice. The other is about revenge. My family was interned. I live with the consequences of that generational trauma every day. And I would never look at someone else being oppressed and think "good, now you know how it feels." Because that doesn't undo what happened to my family. It just creates more people carrying the same wound. The idea that suffering builds empathy is a lie we tell ourselves to make sense of senseless pain. Suffering builds trauma. Empathy is a choice you make despite it. You can acknowledge that Black Americans have faced centuries of systemic violence and injustice AND refuse to celebrate when that violence finds new targets. Those positions aren't contradictory. They're both rooted in the belief that human suffering is wrong. Period. Regardless of who's experiencing it. If the system is broken for everyone, the answer isn't to make sure everyone gets equally broken. It's to leave the system entirely. 🆘🇺🇸

Replying to @silentvali Being smart enough to figure something out and having time to figure something out are two completely different constraints. You're absolutely capable of navigating government immigration websites, cross-referencing visa requirements across multiple countries, tracking which income types qualify for which programs, and building comprehensive comparison of options. You're smart. You could do this. But you're also person with job, family, responsibilities, limited hours in day, and zero experience navigating immigration bureaucracy across 100+ countries. This is one-time task you've never done before and will hopefully only do once. That combination - capable but inexperienced, smart but time-constrained, motivated but overwhelmed by scope - is exactly when hiring expert makes sense. Not because you're incapable. Because your time and energy have value and spending months researching something expert already knows wastes both. The research phase is where most people get stuck indefinitely. Not because they're not smart enough to figure it out. Because research without decision framework becomes endless loop of gathering information that never converts to action. You can spend 6 months researching: reading outdated blog posts, comparing countries based on incomplete information, finding visa programs that sound perfect until you discover requirement that disqualifies you, starting over when you realize research was based on wrong assumption about which visa category you even qualify for. Or you can spend one hour with someone who: already knows which visa categories exist, already maintains updated database of requirements, already understands how your income type and family situation map to available options, can tell you immediately which countries are realistic for your circumstances. The DIY research approach works when you have unlimited time and enjoy process of learning immigration systems. For most people that's neither true nor necessary. You don't need to become expert on global visa programs. You need to identify which specific programs match your situation so you can make decision and execute. Those are different goals requiring different approaches. This is why people hire: accountants instead of learning tax code, lawyers instead of representing themselves, mechanics instead of rebuilding engines. Not because incapable of learning these things. Because expertise exists and your time has value. Moving abroad is already complicated enough without adding "become amateur immigration expert" to list of requirements. You need to build or document income, gather paperwork, plan logistics, prepare family, execute relocation. Adding comprehensive visa research across 100+ countries to that list is unnecessary. The value isn't just information. It's: personalized analysis of your situation, elimination of options that don't match your qualifications, identification of programs you didn't know existed, realistic timeline for your specific path, avoiding expensive mistakes from outdated or incorrect information. Link in bio for people who are smart enough to research but smart enough to recognize when hiring expert is better use of time. How long have you been researching without making decision? 🆘🇺🇸

Replying to @thats_close_enough Americans will spend $200 on a bulletproof backpack for their 8-year-old and call that normal. Not alarming. Not dystopian. Just... normal. "Better safe than sorry." "Every little bit helps." "At least I'm doing something." You know what else you could do? Move to a country where bulletproof backpacks don't exist because they're not needed. My kids go to school in Portugal with regular backpacks. Because the threat they're designed to protect against doesn't exist here. Not because Portugal has better security. Because Portugal doesn't have a mass shooting problem. The fact that an entire industry exists to profit off your fear should tell you everything about how broken the system is. But instead of leaving the system, you're buying products to survive within it. That's not protection. That's acceptance. Link in bio when you're ready to stop accepting this as normal. 🆘🇺🇸

Everyone planning to move abroad thinks: sell the house, use proceeds to fund relocation. That's backwards. Selling funds your move once. Keeping it as rental funds your life indefinitely. The visa qualification problem: Most people struggle to qualify for visas because they lack: remote income (don't have portable job/freelance work), passive income (no rental properties, investments, dividends), retirement income (not old enough or don't have pension). Without one of these income types, visa options are extremely limited. Usually means: expensive investment visas (€250k-500k), skilled worker visas (employer sponsorship, very difficult), or no visa at all. Your house IS the solution: That house you're planning to sell? It can become the passive income qualifying you for 54 countries' visas. Passive income visa requirements: typically $1,000-2,500/month from rental properties, investments, or dividends. Your house, rented out, produces: $3,500-6,000+/month (depending on location and mortgage situation). That's literally the visa qualification income you need. Why people don't consider this: Default assumption: moving abroad = selling everything, starting fresh. But selling your house means: one-time cash injection (helps with relocation costs), then zero ongoing income from that asset. Keeping as rental means: ongoing monthly income qualifying you for visas, funding your life abroad, building long-term wealth. The math comparison: Sell house: Get $200k-400k proceeds. Use for relocation, living expenses. Money eventually runs out. Keep as rental: Get $3,500/month passive income = $42,000/year = $420,000 over 10 years, PLUS you still own appreciating asset, PLUS it qualifies you for passive income visas. Which is better long-term wealth strategy? The rental model that works: You don't have to do traditional long-term rental (tenant drama, lease complications, hard to manage from abroad). You don't have to do nightly Airbnb (high maintenance, cleaning coordination, constant turnover). Mid-term rentals: 30+ day stays. This is what we do. It’s how we've lived abroad for 5 years. Why 30+ day rentals are superior: Attracts: travel nurses, corporate relocations, insurance-displaced families, people between homes, digital nomads. These tenants: need furnished housing, stay 1-3 months, pay premium rates for convenience, less turnover than nightly rentals, more income than long-term leases. Management: minimal compared to nightly Airbnb (no constant cleanings, check-ins, guest issues). Legal: in many cities, 30+ days avoids short-term rental regulations and HOA restrictions. Income: typically 30-50% more than long-term rental, with better tenant quality. Our example: We kept our US house. Rent it for 30+ day stays. Earns $6,000/month (mortgage is $1,900). Net passive income: $4,100/month after mortgage, plus building equity. That $4,100/month passive income (combined with other income) qualified us for Portuguese D7 visa. Without the rental income, we wouldn't have had passive income to qualify. We'd have needed remote work visa (requires higher income threshold) or wouldn't have qualified at all. The visa qualification unlock: Passive income visas are often EASIER to qualify for than remote work visas because: lower income thresholds (passive often $1,000-1,500/month vs remote $2,500-3,500/month), more countries offer them, less scrutiny on income source. Your home can be the difference between: qualifying for visa vs not qualifying, easier visa path vs harder path, more country options vs fewer options. What stops people: "I don't want to be landlord from abroad." You're not traditional landlord. You're renting furnished property for 30+ days to corporate/insurance clients. It's different model. "What if something breaks?" Property manager handles it (costs 10-15% of rent, worth it for hands-off management). "Isn't that risky?" Less risky than having zero passive income and struggling to qualify for any visa. Are you planning to sell or rent your house when you move? 🆘🇺🇸

Everyone should feel safe in their home country. Sadly, for Black and Brown Americans that is not reality. You know society is f’ed up when ‘driving while black’ is a generally understood police harassment tactic they endure. I know the urge is the stand up and fight to prove all these asshole Americans wrong. But, I have been working with an increasing number of minorities that are instead choosing to protect their peace by just finding somewhere they don’t have to fight. There is a mental, emotional, and physical effort that goes into constantly fighting. You do not have to carry that burden. There are countries which allow you to live and exist without needing to constantly beg to be treated fairly. Humanity should be a given, not a long term potential outcome of political activism. These 43 countries will allow you to use remote income to qualify for residency. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights

You say leaving this country is your dream. But every time I post, you're in my comments looking for reasons why it won't work. "What about healthcare?" - I already covered that. "What about language barriers?" - Addressed. "What about missing family?" - Talked about it. "What about the cost?" - Did the math for you. You're not asking genuine questions. You're looking for permission to stay stuck. Because if you can prove me wrong, you can justify your own inaction. If moving abroad is actually impossible or irresponsible, then you're not stuck - you're just being smart. But deep down, you know that's not true. You're being fed move-abroad content constantly. The algorithm knows what you want. You watch every video. You save them. You comment on them. But you never actually DO anything. That's not a logistics problem. That's a commitment problem. And arguing with me doesn't change that. It just makes you feel better about staying for another year.
