Here's how to actually know if your gastritis is healing. One thing that can start happening is you can now go more than four hours without eating and your stomach not hurting. People with gastritis know if you go more than three to four hours without eating, your stomach will start to hurt. Once it starts getting around the time to eat, our stomach starts to produce stomach acid, but if we're not putting food in our stomach, then that stomach acid is just lingering. They're touching our stomach lining and causing that pain that we're getting when we go a long time without eating. If your gastritis is healing or has healed, then you won't get that pain anymore because that lining is not inflamed anymore. The second thing you'll notice is now you can start eating a full meal without having to split it into two small meals anymore. So say you're still splitting up your meals into two small meals, but the first part of your meal, you're noticing that you're still hungry and that you feel like you could just finish your whole meal. So you start eating a little bit more food and you feel fine an hour, two hours, three hours after that and then you go and eat dinner and the same thing happens. So this is a sign, your stomach isn't as sensitive and it's able to hold a lot more food and the third good sign would be that after you finish your three months of eating the lowest-cited cold foods diet for gastritis, you're able to bring back gluten, dairy, beans, red meat, back into your diet with no problems. They didn't give you any flare-ups, they didn't cause any stomach pain. And if you're able to eat these foods with no problem, again, that's a really good sign that your stomach is healing. And the fourth good sign would be that you have a really big appetite and you feel like you can just eat so much food now, not saying that you should go crazy, but you know, you just feel a lot better. You feel like nothing's irritating your stomach anymore. You haven't had a flare-up in a really long time. All these signs put together are really good signs that your gastritis is healed or is healing very well.

Here’s 3 things I would NOT do if I just found out I had gastritis and trying to heal. #gastritistips #gastritis #howtohealgastritis #tipsforgastritis #healgastritisnaturally

Here’s my results of my second endoscopy! Do I still have gastritis? This just shows what everyone says is true, you can still have some form of gastritis even if you don’t have the main symtpoms of it like severe stomach pain. This is why you should continue to eat your strict diet for 6 months- 1 year as it takes a long time for our stomachs to heal. I eat around 2,000 calories a day now, no stomach pain, but my stomach is slightly inflammed. Like I said in the video, I honestly think my gastritis healed but my stomach has gotten a little inflammed again from the bile acid that I now have and this is what’s actually causing the slight inflammation. I will continue to eat my diet for another 3 months and figure out how to balance everything in my gut. I hope my story can help some of you and your journey to recovery as I’m still trying to fight through this as well with all of you.
