Let's talk about all the supplements that helped heal my gastritis. Now you definitely don't need all of these supplements to heal your gastritis. These are just some of the ones that I use, held me along my gut healing journey. Definitely speak with your healthcare provider, your GI doctor, whoever you see first before you start taking a whole bunch of different supplements. The one vitamin that always gave me instant relief and quick results was digestive enzyme. And I really like this because when you have gastritis, it's really hard to break down your meals because your stomach is so inflamed and it hurts. And if you're on a PPI, you're not producing a lot of stomach acid. So it's harder for your food to digest. And then it sits in your stomach for a long time. And this could cause gas, bloating, stomach fullness, stomach pain. I usually ate this with my biggest meal. It's just really relieved that stomach pain, bloating, fullness feeling, to where I can continue to eat a good amount of calories and not continue to lose weight. I also took a B complex vitamin. Our B vitamins are very important for cellular repair, repairing the gut lining, inflammation. And so I took this about three to four times a week, maybe every other day. And if you've been on a PPI for a very long time, you can actually become deficient in your B vitamins. This is very essential vitamin to have. Other vitamin I always took was vitamin D. The vitamin D can help preserve the integrity of the intestinal gastric lining. It also helps regulate the immune system and has anti-inflammatory properties. I took, again, maybe like every other day. If I wasn't going outside a lot, especially in the winter time, I took this every day. I also took magnesium citrate. If you deal with constipation, this is a really good supplement to take that can act as a laxative. If you take a good amount of it, most people have to take about 400 milligrams or more for it to actually help you use the restroom. It works by bringing water into your stool, making it soft and easy to pass, and eventually helping with constipation. Some people don't have much luck with the tablet form. You can also get a powder form or liquid form of magnesium citrate and try that out instead. I also really liked slippery elm powder. When slippery elm is added to water, it creates this gel or thick consistency that can help coat and soothe your esophagus and the stomach lining. I really liked adding this to like chamomile tea and having it 30 minutes before a meal or 30 minutes after a meal before I went to bed. And this was very soothing. I usually did one to one and a half teaspoons of the slippery unpowder to one cup of hot water tea whatever you like. And the next vitamin I'd always took was zinc. This one is called gastrocare. It just essentially has zinc, copper, DGL, and slippery elm. Honestly, any zinc supplement will work. It helps support tissue repair strengthens the gut barrier, is anti-inflammatory and has anti-opsidant effects. It's a really good supplement to take and this supplement I took every day. Now, those are all the supplements that I took when I was dealing with gastritis. Now, once my gastritis was pretty much healed, then I started taking a fish oil supplement because fish oils can help with inflammation and remember we just had a lot of inflammation in our stomach. And so if you're not eating a lot of salmon or fish in your diet, then definitely take a fish oil. This didn't actually help heal my gastritis, but it was something that I gravitated towards whenever I had a lot of acid reflux. This is gavascone, however you pronounce it. But I like this one specifically. So this one is their chewable foam tablets. And so this has alginic acid derived from brown seaweed. But whenever you start chewing the tablets in your mouth, you'll notice it starts to like foam up in your mouth. And when you swallow it, it's thick. And so once it goes down into your stomach, it creates a little barrier. So I know a lot of people like tongues and other anti-acids, but this one again works differently because it actually creates this foam, this barrier above your stomach acid. So that this stomach acid can't come up and touch your esophagus. So you have to take like three or four tablets after you're done eating to actually feel the effect of it working. But these came in handy when my reflux was just really bad. You can find all of these supplements that I used in my Amazon storefront and the link in my bio. There's a supplement that I didn't list, but you used and you know really helped heal your gastritis. Leave a comment down below.

Here’s my results of my second endoscopy! Do I still have gastritis? This just shows what everyone says is true, you can still have some form of gastritis even if you don’t have the main symtpoms of it like severe stomach pain. This is why you should continue to eat your strict diet for 6 months- 1 year as it takes a long time for our stomachs to heal. I eat around 2,000 calories a day now, no stomach pain, but my stomach is slightly inflammed. Like I said in the video, I honestly think my gastritis healed but my stomach has gotten a little inflammed again from the bile acid that I now have and this is what’s actually causing the slight inflammation. I will continue to eat my diet for another 3 months and figure out how to balance everything in my gut. I hope my story can help some of you and your journey to recovery as I’m still trying to fight through this as well with all of you. Thank you for watching 🩷 #gastritis #gastritisdiet #endoscopy #endoscopyjourney #endoscopyresults
