I've been having a lot of acid reflux lately so let me show you my favorite tea that I like to make to help soothe and coat my esophagus. So I just have some chamomile tea here and then some slippery elm powder, slippery elm powder when it's added to warm water and form this thick gel and so when you put it in warm tea and you mix it and drink it it coats your esophagus it's really soothing and comforting and so I'm going to show you how I make mine. I know some people say that they have a hard time getting their tea to thicken up whenever they add the slippery elm powder. What usually works for me is doing about one and a half teaspoon of slippery elm powder with like eight ounces of water. So I have my tea back here and then I'm just pouring my hot water or you can do hot water too and then let it cool down. I know I've also heard people say they did the hot tea with slippery elm and it didn't thicken up. It could be because it was too hot but once it starts to cool down then it will start to thicken up and then I get my one tea spoon. What I also like to do is use this little milk frother. You'll notice if you do mix it with a spoon it doesn't mix well so if you can invest in this little cheap milk frother I would definitely advise that. And so now I'm just going to let this sit and steep for a few minutes and then I'll show you how thick it's gotten. Okay it's been just a couple minutes and this is what it looks like now. See it's definitely a bit thicker. You definitely don't want it too thick to where you can't swallow it. I usually sip on this either an hour after a meal or right before bed when I'm feeling a lot of chest pain which today I am. If you want to try the slippery elm powder that I use it's linked in my amazon store front and the link in my bio.

Here’s my results of my second endoscopy! Do I still have gastritis? This just shows what everyone says is true, you can still have some form of gastritis even if you don’t have the main symtpoms of it like severe stomach pain. This is why you should continue to eat your strict diet for 6 months- 1 year as it takes a long time for our stomachs to heal. I eat around 2,000 calories a day now, no stomach pain, but my stomach is slightly inflammed. Like I said in the video, I honestly think my gastritis healed but my stomach has gotten a little inflammed again from the bile acid that I now have and this is what’s actually causing the slight inflammation. I will continue to eat my diet for another 3 months and figure out how to balance everything in my gut. I hope my story can help some of you and your journey to recovery as I’m still trying to fight through this as well with all of you. Thank you for watching 🩷 #gastritis #gastritisdiet #endoscopy #endoscopyjourney #endoscopyresults

Does anyone else deal with this? Instead of a burning chest pain feeling, it’s more of a throbbing, sharp, prickly feeling? #esophagealhypersensitivity #chestpain #acidreflux #gerd #esophagus
