I can eat SO MUCH MORE protein now compared to a couple weeks ago so I know this has helped me a lot! • Symtopms I had that lead me to believe I have low stomach acid: - undigested food in stool - bloating - feeling very full after meals with a lot of meat protein (especially red meat) - acid reflux - fullness in stomach (right under diaphragm area) - feels like a lot of food is still sitting in your stomach hours after eating - constipation - slow gut motility • #lowstomachacid #acidreflux #stomachissues #stomachproblems #bloating #digestion #increasestomachacid

This is how I've been increasing my stomach acid. So I was put on a PPI due to having gastritis last year. I felt like it gave me low stomach acid. Because for a while, I did have a really hard time digesting a lot of food, digesting protein. I would always get full right under the diaphragm area because the food would sit longer in my stomach and take longer to digest, I would lead to acid reflux. So these are the few things that I've been doing to increase my stomach acid so that I can break down food better and properly absorb the nutrients from that food. I will say this, if you are dealing with gastritis, please do not follow these steps. You need to be focusing on healing your gut lining. It's inflamed. The last thing that you want to do is do the things I'm about to say and make your stomach worse. So do not follow these steps. If you are dealing with gastritis, if you healed your gastritis and you know it's healed, or you didn't ever have gastritis and you've just been taking a PPI for a really long time, then you can keep watching this video. The first thing that I've been doing is taking digestive bitters about 15 to 30 minutes before each of my meals. digestive bitters help stimulate digestive enzymes, more stomach acid, more saliva, and we have digestive enzymes in our saliva. I usually do about 20 to 30 drops and just like a splash of water and I will again slowly sip it because the bitters are very strong. So that's what I do with the bitters. The second thing that I've been doing is drinking lemon water about 15 to 30 minutes before my meals. Also helps stimulate more stomach acid so that you can break your food down more properly. Some people will do apple cider vinegar. I have not done that because it is definitely a lot stronger and harsher than lemon juice. So if you're a little nervous about doing the apple cider vinegar, you can try. You can start with lemon juice first and then if you do that for a few weeks, you don't feel any difference, then you can start using the apple cider vinegar. And then I also take a zinc supplement, zinc plays a role in HCL production. So I've been taking that every day or sometimes every other day for a couple of weeks now. And I've also been increasing my protein intake but I've been doing this very slowly because again, if you're already dealing with low stomach acid and you're trying to eat more protein, that's going to make your stomach feel full and possibly hurt and feel more bloated because again, we're not producing a lot of stomach acid. So I slowly try to increase it over time so that again, my body will slowly start to produce more stomach acid and we'll get used to all this protein that I'm trying to bring in and slowly start to increase stomach acid naturally.

Here’s my results of my second endoscopy! Do I still have gastritis? This just shows what everyone says is true, you can still have some form of gastritis even if you don’t have the main symtpoms of it like severe stomach pain. This is why you should continue to eat your strict diet for 6 months- 1 year as it takes a long time for our stomachs to heal. I eat around 2,000 calories a day now, no stomach pain, but my stomach is slightly inflammed. Like I said in the video, I honestly think my gastritis healed but my stomach has gotten a little inflammed again from the bile acid that I now have and this is what’s actually causing the slight inflammation. I will continue to eat my diet for another 3 months and figure out how to balance everything in my gut. I hope my story can help some of you and your journey to recovery as I’m still trying to fight through this as well with all of you. Thank you for watching 🩷 #gastritis #gastritisdiet #endoscopy #endoscopyjourney #endoscopyresults

Does anyone else deal with this? Instead of a burning chest pain feeling, it’s more of a throbbing, sharp, prickly feeling? #esophagealhypersensitivity #chestpain #acidreflux #gerd #esophagus
