The fastest way for the vast majority of you to get your first million views is going to be to think about a controversial opinion that you hold related to your industry and put that as text on screen over a seven-second B-roll clip. Now a lot of you guys hear the word controversy and you lose your fucking mind. If you cannot provide value and be controversial at the same time, that is a commentary on your ability to be creative and provide value at the same time. That's not commentary on the strategy itself. Some of my controversial opinions as it relates to fitness so that you can see an example. Everyone should eat 1.2 grams of protein per pound of their body weight. You don't need to spend more than 45 minutes in the gym three times a week in order to see progress. Forcing yourself or forcing people to eat an entire Whole Foods diet is going to set people up for failure. Those are controversial. Two of the people that are in the industry. That might not sound controversial to somebody that's out of the industry, but every single time I post about those topics, it causes debate in the comment section which causes the video to do better and that is the thing that you need to look for. That is what should come into your mind when you hear controversy as it relates to social media and to growing your page. All of those things will piss off the wrong people and will build brand and build trust with the right people. It is almost like controversy only to people who have the insider information only to people that are actually in the industry. That's what you need to chase and that's how you get some of these formats to actually bring you outlier videos to actually bring you viral videos that will still convert into followers into clients. It has to be related to the industry and it has to be something that you can stand on top of once the dust settles.
