I need you to hear this: if you wanted to move abroad as badly as you claim, you'd already be doing something about it. You wouldn't have time to doom scroll for 3 hours. You'd be using that time to build freelance income. You wouldn't have money for streaming services and delivery apps. You'd be saving every dollar for relocation. You wouldn't still be in America a year after discovering my channel. You'd have apostilled documents, applied for visas, and gone. The fact that you haven't reveals the truth: you want the IDEA of moving abroad. Not the actual work required to do it. You want it to be easy. To fall into your lap. To happen without sacrifice or discomfort or changing anything about your current life. That's not how this works. If you want to avoid wasting time on another year of scrolling and saying "someday," you need to reallocate: screen time to skill-building, comfort spending to savings, familiar routines to uncomfortable growth. If you're not willing to make those trades, stop saying you want to move. You don't. You want to keep doing exactly what you're doing and magically end up somewhere else. Link in bio when you're ready to stop lying to yourself about what you actually want. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokCreatorSearchInsightsIncentive

People often assume that leaving the U.S. was easy for me because I am such an advocate for others to escape. But, that’s not the case at all. Leaving the US is incredibly hard. It feels like parts of my heart are just exposed and left back in America. When I think about my loved ones who are still back in the United States, my heart breaks. The way I see it though, I am not going to sacrifice my own kids to stay near people who don’t want to save themselves. It would be much harder to send my kids into a potential gun crime scene everyday than it is to fly home a few times per year. I picked my hard. 🆘🇺🇸 #creatorsearchinsights

You’ve asked the question. You’ve googled it. You’ve watched videos about it. You’ve saved posts about it. You know the answer. You just don’t like the answer because the answer requires doing something uncomfortable. There is no secret pathway. There is no hack. There is no “just apply to this one company and they’ll sponsor you.” There is no waiting until conditions are perfect. There is one path that works for regular people without corporate sponsorship or family wealth: generate income that qualifies you, apply for visa, relocate. That’s it. That’s the whole thing. Everything else is details. The reason you keep asking “how do I move abroad” when you already know how is because you’re hoping someone will tell you different answer. Answer that doesn’t require you to do hard thing you’ve been avoiding. You want someone to say: just save this amount, or just apply to these jobs, or just wait until this timing, or just move to this one country that’s super easy. Something that fits into comfort zone you’re currently in. But comfortable path doesn’t exist. If it did, everyone would take it. The reason most people don’t move abroad isn’t because they can’t figure out how. It’s because knowing how and doing how are completely different things. You can know exactly what’s required and still not do it. Because doing it means: pitching services to strangers, building income stream from scratch, risking failure, being uncomfortable for extended period, taking action before feeling ready. All the information in world doesn’t eliminate discomfort of doing something you’ve never done before. And you’ve been conditioned to avoid discomfort, so you keep researching instead of executing. Research feels productive. Feels like progress. Feels like you’re working on it. But if research never converts to action, it’s just sophisticated way of staying stuck while pretending you’re moving forward. Watch video for the answer you already know but keep hoping will change. Link in bio for people ready to do the uncomfortable thing instead of researching it forever. How long have you known what you need to do without doing it? 🆘🇺🇸

Americans obsess over freedom vibes—flying flags, celebrating independence, defending rights constantly—because they're perpetually fighting to maintain baseline freedoms that shouldn't require fighting. Real freedom isn't performative. It's boring. You don't think about it. You don't defend it daily. You don't march for it every election cycle. You just... have it. Freedom to: * Send kids to school without fear * Get healthcare without bankruptcy * Take vacation without guilt * Exist without constant threat assessment * Build a life without survival mode as default In America, those freedoms require: activism, voting, protesting, advocating, defending, explaining, justifying. That's not freedom. That's exhausting maintenance of basic rights that should be guaranteed. Abroad (in functional countries): those freedoms exist as infrastructure. Boring. Assumed. Not up for debate every 4 years. You stop spending mental energy on "am I free?" and start spending it on "what do I want to build?" The freedom vibes Americans celebrate are compensation for the freedom they're constantly defending. It's loud because it's fragile. Actual freedom is quiet. You forget to think about it because it's just... there. When freedom becomes boring—when it's not something you fight for but something you operate from—that's when you're actually free. Link in bio when you're ready for freedom that doesn't require a flag or a fight. 🆘🇺🇸 #TikTokCreatorSearchInsightsIncentive

You're living in a country where your kids practice hiding from gunmen and you call it normal. Not safe. Normal. That's not an accident. That's status quo bias. When danger becomes familiar, your brain stops registering it as dangerous. It just becomes background noise. Part of the routine. The way things are. You've spent so much energy adapting to an unsafe system that leaving it feels more terrifying than staying in it. Even though objectively, staying is the bigger risk. Your kid is statistically more likely to die in a school shooting in America than in a car accident in most European countries. That's your brain choosing familiar over safe. Here's the shift. Discomfort is temporary. Danger is ongoing. Moving abroad is uncomfortable for about six months while you adjust. Staying in America is dangerous for as long as you're there. One is a short-term feeling. The other is a long-term risk. Choose accordingly. Link in bio for exit plan consultations. 🆘🇺🇸

Worry isn’t random. It’s a protection pattern your brain learned early to keep you safe. Your amygdala flags a threat, your default mode network loops the story, and suddenly you’re stuck in “what if” thinking on repeat. That’s not you. That’s a protective part of you running old programming from childhood. Trying to think positive won’t stop it. Because you’re arguing with something wired below thought, something your body learned in moments that felt unsafe. The shift is simple, but powerful. Pause and get curious. “Oh, there’s my worry part.” “What is it trying to protect me from?” That’s how you start to loosen the loop. If you actually want to rewire this pattern at the root, not just manage it, that’s exactly what we do inside the UpSpiral Life 90-Day Experience. We help you identify and retrain the parts running in the background so you can return to self-leadership. Follow me and comment Upspiral and I’ll send you the details. #neuroscience #overthinking #anxietyhelp #selfregulation #manifestation

This might be the easiest manifestation shift you’re not using yet. Most people think manifestation is about forcing yourself to feel good all day. That’s hard. Life happens. Your brain reacts. And once you’re in a negative loop, it’s not just mindset… it’s wiring. Your amygdala tags problems. Your default mode network replays them. Your brain starts looking for more of the same. That’s why “just think positive” doesn’t work. But here’s the backdoor: Sleep. Right before you fall asleep, your brain naturally loosens its grip on your current identity and beliefs. That’s not philosophy. That’s neuroscience. Your brain shifts into a more suggestible state. Less critical filtering. More pattern imprinting. So instead of fighting your mood all day… you install a new pattern at night. Here’s how: Write down 3 things you want in money 3 in relationships 3 in health Make them first person, present tense. Believable, but a stretch. Then drop those into ChatGPT and have it turn them into a short bedtime story written as if it’s already your life. Read that story right before sleep. That’s it. Because as you drift off, your brain is: • Releasing the emotional charge of the day • Updating internal models • Strengthening whatever you just rehearsed You’re not forcing belief. You’re planting it. Do this consistently and something subtle starts to happen: Your attention shifts. Your decisions shift. Your identity starts catching up to the story. That’s manifestation in real terms. You don’t need a perfect day. You need a trained brain. And this is one of the simplest ways to do it. If this hit, follow me and comment “UpSpiral” and I’ll send you more tools to rewire your brain for clarity, confidence, and real results. #manifestation #lawofattraction #neuroscience #mindsetshift #personalgrowth

Most advice on how to cope with leaving family abroad treats distance as pure loss. It's not. It's loss AND expansion. Yes, leaving family on the other side of the planet is hard. I'm extremely close with mine. The distance is real. But here's what nobody talks about: your leaving expands their lives too. Before you moved abroad, your family's Christmas options: stay home, visit relatives in the same state. After you moved abroad: stay home, visit relatives, OR spend Christmas in Lisbon with you. That's expansion, not loss. Your moving abroad gives your family permission to think globally. To plan international trips they wouldn't have planned. To experience countries they wouldn't have visited. The grief some family members express? Often it's not about losing you. It's about confronting their own stuck-ness. You leaving highlights: they could also leave, and they're choosing not to. But the family members who GET IT? They see your move as invitation, not abandonment. They start thinking: "When can we visit?" "Should we do your birthday in Bangkok?" That's how to cope with leaving family abroad from their perspective: treat it as expansion opportunity. From your perspective: FaceTime constantly, plan meetups several times a year (you visit them, they visit you, meet in third locations). I meet my Seattle friend in Madrid. My family comes to Portugal. I go back to the US. It requires intention. But it's absolutely doable. The key mindset shift: this isn't goodbye, this is global family. Comment below: How has your family reacted to your move abroad (or plans to move)? Loss or expansion?
